We’re right in the middle New York Fashion Week (Feb. 7-14), and despite Nemo, the runways are buzzing with the latest trends for Fall 2013.
New York Fashion Week is a star-studded, invitation-only event held in September and February each year to unveil the designers’ intrepretation of fashion for the coming spring or fall. (Other similar fashion weeks are also held in London, Paris and Milan.)
I think it’s really exciting — in a way, history in the making. But if you’re not right in the middle of it, it can be overwhelming to follow.
So I’m recommending a website called fashionista.com. This website does an excellent job of breaking down the designers’ collections, as well as combining the human-interest side of New York fashion at the same time.
Take a look. Do you see any patterns? Anything that you might be interested in?
